Science Word Parts

Science vocabulary can sometimes feel like a foreign language to students.  One simple idea for helping your students is to create a word wall based on word parts.

I have small posters which include the word part and a graphic to illustrate its meaning posted on the cabinet doors.  As our class learns a vocabulary term that matches a word part, we place it under the word part poster.
